The videos in the website are not playing or playing slowly. What should I do?
Answer: The videos on the TRIBE website are hosted on Vimeo. Sometimes there can be a connection problem between the two websites. Sometime refreshing the page can fix the issue. The speed in which videos play is dependent on your internet connection. If your internet connection is slow or there is a high volume of internet traffic in your area, you can always download the transcript of the video to read through.
Does TRIBE use a lot of internet data?
Answer: Watching videos on websites uses more data than doing other things on the internet. Each video uses approximately 30MB/min of data. If you do not wish to use this much data, we have provided transcripts of each video that can be downloaded.

Can I complete an exercise more than once?
Answer: You can complete an exercise as many times as you like and the TRIBE website keeps a log of all of your previous answers. The exercises are private and get saved to your own personal profile.
Where can I find the exercises that I’ve completed?
Answer: All of the exercises that you complete get stored in the TRIBE system. You can either go to the place where you originally completed the exercise and you will see a log of your previous answers, or you can go to "My Area", and you will find key exercises compiled under “My Wellness Plan”. You can change what you have written at any time by clicking “Edit”, and you can remove what you have written by clicking “Delete”.
I want to show someone an exercise I have completed. How do I do this?
Answer: If you want to show your medical practitioner or supports you can print out the exercise by clicking the “Print all submissions” button.
How often should I use the App?
Answer: We would like you to download the App before you starting working your way through the website content. To get the most out of TRIBE, we suggest you use the App twice per day. Your smartphone will send you a notification twice-daily at random times to ‘check-in’ to the app.
The notifications don’t seem to be working
Step 1: A Wi-Fi connection or cellular network is needed for you to receive notifications. Please make sure you are connected to a network.
Step 2: Make sure that the Mute switch on the side of your phone is not on.
If you have an iPhone: Confirm your notifications is supporting the app. Go to Settings > Notifications, select the MoodPrism app, and make sure that Notifications are turned on. If notifications for the MoodPrism app are turned on but you are still not receiving alerts, the Alert Style when Unlocked may be set to None. Go to Settings>Notifications>check the Alert Style is set to Banners or Alerts. (For more instructions, visit:)
If you have an Android:Main Menu > Settings > Notifications > Notification Types Make sure the Notifications are set to Normal.
You can double check the notification settings to make sure they are turned on for the MoodPrism App: Go to Settings > Sound & Notification > App Notifications. Select the MoodPrism App, and make sure that Notifications are turned on and set to Normal. Make sure that Do Not Disturb is turned off.
NOTE: Notifications are sent at random times during the minimum 12-hour time window that you select. This means they can occur close together or far apart, or somewhere in-between! If you decide to change the time window, it can take up to 24 hours for the changes to take effect (so you may not get notifications on the day you make that change).
What does the coloured bar on the Tracker screen (calendar) view refer to?
Answer: The coloured bar underneath the calendar can be used to see which colour corresponds to which mood. It does not show you your current mood. To see your current mood, click on today's date in the calendar: a coloured box appears around the date, representing your current mood. If you did more than one check-in on a given day, the coloured box around that date will be a combination of the two mood colours.
Where are the coping suggestions?
Answer: After you have completed a check-in, click on the date on the Tracker screen (calendar) to view your detailed mood feedback and coping suggestions based on how you are currently feeling. If you do more than one check-in on a day, you will see detailed mood feedback for each check-in (scroll down to see the coping suggestions for your second check-in). In the feedback, click on 'Read more' links to access your coping suggestions from TRIBE. This will take you to the TRIBE website: enter your login details and give the coping suggestions a try!
What does the head icon on the top left of the Check In screen refer to?
Answer: If you click on the head, this will give you a visual representation of the moods you have logged and the proportion of the check-ins that you experienced that mood. You can select whether you want to look at the day, week, month or all time using the slider under the head.
What does the "i" in the circle on the top right of the Check In screen refer to?
Answer: This shows you which colours correspond to which mood. Click on a colour to get the mood descriptions.
Is my smartphone App information being monitored?
Answer: No. While you will be using the smartphone App twice per day, your information is not monitored in real-time. When you have completed the TRIBE study, your smartphone App data will be used for research purposes.
I am experiencing technical difficulties. What should I do?
If you are experiencing any problems with the smartphone App please do let us know by sending us the details using Contact Us. The smartphone App has been created for this research project and is not a commercial product, so while we endeavour to fix any issues quickly please do be patient.
